Paper or Plastic?

Now, I don't profess to be green or anything, but paper bags are better for the earth than plastic, right? Cause it's weird, but I get this guilty feeling whenever I ask for paper bags. I do. (I mean, most people do ask for plastic, right?) I look around, wondering who's watching, and then I say softly...paper please. my kids use them for art projects.

But WHY do I feel this way? I'm clueless...and probably really on my own with this one...

  1. Don't feel guilty. Paper bags are better for the environment than plastic because you can recycle them, and they are tons more fun for the kids too.

  2. do stores even stock paper anymore?! yes, paper is better... IF you recycle it. But, it costs the store a lot more for you to use them. they might go "aldi" style on us if we aren't careful and whisperatory. :) love ya!

  3. I never thought about it, but those are great for crafts. I use the reusable fabric bags because they hold more, which equals less trips from the car to the kitchen. :)

  4. I do the same thing. I always feel guilty like I am killing the trees or something. But we LOVE the bags.
