The Sheep Shearing Festival

Pretty cool thing to witness. The kiddos got to feel the sheep before and after it was shaved. We learned about the oil in the wool. I never knew that was where lanolin came from! We also made wool bracelets, made wool-covered soap bars, and watched sheepdogs round up the sheep.
...And all from a real, live farmer. :)
