    I am a long time friend of the Beeson family. My name is Sheri Moore and I lived in Lancaster, CA near them. One of my favorite picture books is "What! Cried Granny". It is authored by Kate Lum and Adrian Johnson. It helps that I called my grandmother "granny"! The voices that can be used when reading this book make it an exceptional treat!

  4. #94: The Little Mouse, the Red Ripe Strawberry, and the Big Hungry Bear by Audrey and Don Wood (1984)****This one would probably be #1 on my list.****

    We just read this one at storytime last week!! It was so cute and our librarian was so fun in her reading. I really love to have my kids hear different people read to them. It's fun to hear the different ways people tell stories.
