Pajama Pant Snake

When Bubs' pants got holes in the knees, I ripped the bottom of the legs off to make them into shorts for the approaching summer. The leftover plaid tubes reminded me of a snake, so I handed them over to Bubs, saying that he should make a snake out of them.

First he sewed the two pieces together at the center with a yarn needle and yarn. Then he sewed one end closed, filled the snake with fluff, and sewed the other end closed.

He made eyes out of cotton balls and a forked tongue out of red felt.
And there you have it...his own personal softy.

Snake vs. Spotty Spider...

Who do you think will win this battle? Bubs made the spider after looking over my shoulder at this post at No Time for Flash Cards.
