Generous and beautiful author CYNTHIA LORD has sent me a SIGNED copy (with two award seals) of Rules for our second Clean Reads Giveaway. And it's for YOU!
You can see my review of Rules here!
This is how you can become the owner of this new hardcover copy of Rules...Simply leave a comment on any Deliciously Clean Reads post between now and Tuesday, May 15th. Comments can be about anything, but I would appreciate if they were relevant to the book reviewed or your feelings about Clean Reads in general. Your comment must include your name (of course, it can be just a first name, or if you're really shy, just an online alias).
Names of commenters will be tossed into a hat, and I'll announce a winner one week from today on Wednesday, May 16th. The winner must contact me by Friday, May 18th. Another drawing will take place if the winner turns out to be a no-show.
Please let your friends know about the Clean Reads Giveaway! Thanks and good luck!

RULES is a must read book for every child. The characters are engaging and real. The story allows us to see what it's like to be the sibling of a child with special needs, one who has needs of her own as well. RULES rules!
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed this book and would love to own a copy! Thanks for doing these giveaways. :)
ReplyDeleteoh I'd love to win a copy of this book, I've tried getting it at our library several times but each time it is checked out. I'm going to post a link to your contest on my site too.
ReplyDeleteI regularly seek out RULES at bookstores and libraries. Whenever I find it I turn it to face out so that other people see its adorable cover.
ReplyDeleteI talk up the most excellent content every chance I get.
RULES is brilliant and so is Cynthia Lord!
oh, me me me! *raises hand and jumps up and down*
ReplyDeleteI Adore that book and I don't have a copy.
I was so excited when I first read RULES because it is such a well written book that is still fun and engaging for kids. I remember the look on my son's face when he read it. It only took him a couple of hours because he couldn't put it down. He looked giddy, happy and very satisfied--like he just ate Thanksgiving dinner.
I am a 4th grade teacher and always look for great books to add to my classroom library. Thanks for having this available!
ReplyDeleteI referred Blue Boarders to your site when they were looking for good books for an elementary school girl. I also loooved Rules and would be honored to have a signed copy. Please put my name in the hat. PS I also read both Maude March books after finding out about them here. They were great! Thanks!

Not only is RULES for kids to read, but adults would really benefit from it, too...especially teachers, guidance counselors, and anyone else that may ever have an opportunity to work with or even meet a child with autism and his family.
ReplyDeleteYou've got me interested!
ReplyDeleteI'd love to have a copy for my classroom (fifth and sixth graders.)
And, of course - I'd have to read it first. Sounds wonderful!
