I am currently trying to find "clean reads" for a 13 year old, Christian girl and am hoping that you can help me out with this particular selection. The girl is not allowed to read anything that includes magic/fantasy and has no interest in books that portray boyfriend/girlfriend stuff. This book seems to fall into neither of those categories...so I'm thinking this would be a good choice for her. Any other book suggestions you may have would be great, for now I'll keep browsing your site!

Amanda

http://www.apatchworkofbooks.blogspot.comAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7829891940188548746.post-13150958669062638192007-04-12T11:16:00.000-06:002007-04-12T11:16:00.000-06:00Hi Amanda!Make sure to check out Little Willow's l...Hi Amanda!
Make sure to check out Little Willow's list here: http://slayground.livejournal.com/170494.html
And Pop Goes the Library's list here:
http://www.popgoesthelibrary.com/2007/01/request-for-good-younger-teen-reads.html

Some of the books that come to my mind are Al Capone does my Shirts by Gennifer Choldenko, Hattie Big Sky by Kirby Larson, Rules by Cynthia Lord.
Hmm. What else? I really like a bit of fantasy and romance, myself. I think those two lists will be really helpful, though.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
